An exciting opportunity is now available for a Senior Lecturer in Guidance and Counselling to join our team.
What we need
- Excellent disciplinary knowledge in Guidance and Counselling.
- Contemporary pedagogical knowledge and experience in designing and delivering outstanding tertiary teacher education courses.
- Expertise in online learning and teaching in tertiary education.
- A strong, well established research profile.
- Contribute to the teaching efforts in the School, including through course and discipline team leadership.
- Undertake activities to continue to grow your research practice.
- Participate in engagement activities internal to the School and University, and externally to the profession and our communities.
You will be a collegial, collaborative team player with a PhD in an Education discipline and a desire to make an outstanding contribution to a vibrant research culture. Your experience in tertiary teacher education, your discipline knowledge, and your expertise in teaching students, including online, will help you devise and deliver engaging learning experiences for our students. You will also be registered with, or have the ability to register with, an Australian teacher registration authority.
