Marketlend is an up and coming fintech established since 2014 who provide working capital
solutions for SMEs, with funds under management of circa A$400m. We are looking for an
experienced senior legal practitioner to join our in-house team. Marketlend considers itself

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Lawyer to join our legal team of 3 qualified lawyers.
This role will be in a high performing and dynamic team and will give you the opportunity to
work over a variety of legal areas!
Your day-to-day tasks may include:
Liaising with external counsel in relation to litigation and other general legal matters;
Mentoring the current legal team;
Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure legal compliance;
Legal preparatory work for insurance and trade credit litigation matters;
Advising the senior management team in relation to legal and commercial matters;
Assisting with preparing, drafting or implementing securitisation documentation;
Contract review and drafting of legal agreements;
Managing transactional matters of a wide variety;
Workplace relations matters; and
Other day to day commercial matters.

About You
The successful candidate will:
Have an Australian Practicing Certificate
Strong experience with banking and finance law;
6+ years’ PAE with experience in a mid-top tier firm; and
Be located in Sydney
