THE OPPORTUNITY
This opportunity will give you oversight, hands-on responsibilities and strategic involvement for the firm’s Australian Legal Projects.
You’ll also become part of a Global Innovation & Best Delivery function, working closely with local and regional peers and reporting into a Regional Programme Director for APAC.
Therefore by securing this opportunity, you will have the best of both worlds - genuine hands-on involvement, nationwide autonomy and strategic responsibility, plus the support and backing of a very well-resourced global Legal Project function.
This opportunity is being offered on an initial fixed-term, contract basis for 12-months and can be based in Sydney or Perth. The firm can offer hybrid working options.
ABOUT YOU
To secure this opportunity you will:
- Offer a solid background in project management, preferably gained in a professional services or legal environment.
- You will also have significant experience of managing teams and supporting complex, multi-jurisdictional matters or engagements (ideally, in a dedicated project management capacity).
- A formal project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP is not essential but would be desirable, as would a prior career as a lawyer.
- You will also be an excellent communicator - able to articulate and to present complex projects to people across the firm at all levels.
