A newly created opportunity has emerged, based at the Group’s new and purpose-built contemporary offices located on the fringe of the CBD, on Fullarton Road at Kent Town. Reporting directly to the newly appointed CFO and working closely with the broader leadership team, this pivotal role is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the finance function and the analysis and reporting of financial information to both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory authorities. Leading and managing a small team, specific responsibilities include:
management reporting – preparing monthly management financial reports and commentary for the monthly finance review meeting;
financial reporting – preparing annual statutory reports for group entities;
taxation – ensuring the lodgement of BAS returns and annual ATO compliance reports, and providing input to the preparation of annual FBT and income tax returns in conjunction with external accountants;
planning and forecasting – preparing and maintaining cash flow, profit and capital forecasts;
cash management – planning and managing daily cash flow;
supervision of payroll – ensuring accurate and timely payment of payroll and compliance with statutory requirements for Workcover, Payroll Tax & Superannuation.
