Our client is a global competitor within aviation who look after Aircraft Management, Sales, Charter and Completions. They support both commercial and defence customers and they are seeking a Senior Manager Quality & Compliance to join their team in Cairns.
Your new role
As Senior Manager Quality and Control, you will report into the VP and provide leadership, direction and oversight of the quality team to mitigate commercial risk and to maximise opportunities, ensuring consistent commercial practices, reporting and regulatory compliance. You will lead and provide direction and guidance for compliance within CASA / EASA / FAA / NAA / ISO frameworks. You will also actively promote the understanding of Safety and Quality through engagement with team members. You will administer, monitor and continuously improve aspects of the Safety, Quality and Risk management systems and processes. You must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas within this role.
What you'll need to succeed
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Experience within Aviation quality and compliance
- Customer service and safety focused
- Excellent communication, customer service and people skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions as well as meeting minimum physical requirements of job
- Full work rights in Australia
