Senior Manager Systems Assurance

NSW Government Agency is looking for a Senior Manager Systems Assurance to lead and manage a range of best practice systems safety and assurance activities through planning, design, acquisition, testing and handover, to ensure compliance with required functional and safety standards and requirements, and acts as a point of contact for key project sponsors, stakeholders and delivery partners.

About the role:
Develop internal processes and documentation to support the Systems Safety and Assurance process.
Advise, guide and support projects in demonstrating compliance with relevant systems safety and assurance processes.
Perform Systems Safety and Assurance reviews, including submission of comments, to demonstrate compliance with Safety Assurance arguments and Goal Structuring Notation (GSN).
Ensure that risk assessments, risk controls and verification of implementation of risk controls are documented and managed
Provide specific information for reports and participate in specific working groups with key stakeholders
Collate best practice data and information in order to continuously improve the Systems Safety and Assurance function.

Essentials:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Systems Integration or equivalent professional qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
The ability to acquire a Rail Safety Worker designation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
