The Purpose:
Senior Marketing Manager is a critical function within the commercial team at Iress as we seek to deliver value to Iress and our clients through our new technology platform on a global scale.
As a central point of contact, you will work directly with our commercial team to understand what it takes to achieve sales success and enable that through direct collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Help build out a content framework for client self-serve repositories across our products and propositions that are complete and up-to-date
Cross-functional collaboration to ensure that the commercial team is well equipped to go-to-market in a confident manner as we begin to introduce new platform capabilities and propositions
Ensure that the “voice of commercial” resonates to ensure organisational awareness of commercial initiatives, our client’s and their needs, business growth and new opportunities
Work closely with Head of Commercial Transformation to ensure that the new program of work for our single product and technology platform is effectively communicated and conveyed to the commercial team
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
Work with the commercial team and product marketing to effectively convey the value of our platform-based capabilities, products and propositions to our clients in an effective and consistent manner while considering the nuances of local markets.
Coordinate with the broader commercial team, product and marketing to ensure that we have a well-rounded library of content for our account managers and clients, ranging from sales and marketing collateral through to technical specifications
Find a common thread in the platform sales support needs and requirements across the commercial team globally, channelling this information through in a centralised manner to key internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with commercial team, product marketing and product management to effectively formulate the client-value-proposition across our platform capabilities and propositions.
Assist in maintaining Iress’ developer community site to ensure that the content needs of our clients are adequately fulfilled (in partnership with Community & Learning team).
Work directly with product counterparts to facilitate regularly scheduled learning and education exercises within account managers to ensure that we can go-to-market with confidence.
Effectively build a two-way internal communication platform for the Commercial team so that we can convey the importance of the program of work related to the platform to account managers, while equally ensuring that the voice of the client and our commercial initiatives are effectively communicated across Iress.
What you will bring:
At least 7 years of experience working within an commercial or marketing environment in the financial services industry
Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with, and coordinate, multiple stakeholders
A flare for communication and storytelling
A firm understanding of the key stakeholders across the financial advice, wealth management and trading segments
Strong experience in building tools and resources to aid the sales process
Be able to work with great agility and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Bachelor's Degree
