AddressWood is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Rotating & Static) to join our Operations APAC (West) business in Perth, Western Australia. This is a long-term opportunity to join our expanding Oil and Gas Operations team, due to recently securing a significant project with a major player in the LNG industry.
Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory, Southeast Asia and Kazakhstan.
Reporting directly to the Mechanical Team Lead, you will be working as a part of an integrated team to provide support for brownfields Oil & Gas packages.

Suitably qualified in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution with a minimum of 7 + years with relevant industry experience, you will have:
- Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry on brownfields projects within an Engineering / EPCM office or gas processing facilities
- In-depth technical mechanical knowledge - design and operation
- Extensive design and knowledge of applicable codes and standards (both international and Australian)
- Ability to manage risk during the design process consistent with technical and commercial requirements
- Excellent analytical, literacy and numerical skills
- Proven experience managing small teams of Engineers
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client facing roles
