The Role
Our client is a male in his mid-30’s living with various Mental Illness and moderate Intellectual Disability. Our client is transitioning from the Department of Community Justice and requires experienced mental health support workers.
Components of the supports include understanding of complex mental health, experience implementing/following behaviour support plans, community access, experience working with various behaviours of concern.
- Supports will be 24/7, on an ongoing roster and at a 2:1 ratio*

In addition to our values, our support staff require mandatory compliance:
12 months minimum experience as a Mental Health Support Worker
Experience working with clients with mental illness
Experience working with behaviours of concern
Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
Driver’s License & Car
Relevant tertiary qualification
NDIS Worker Screening Check, or Police Check & WWCC
Current Mental Health First Aid & CPR Certificate
Triple COVID-19 Vaccination
COVID-19 Infection Control Training
