About The Role
Provide mining engineering expertise and analysis in feasibility studies for future mining developments, including Preliminary Economic Assessments, Scoping Studies and Preliminary and Definitive Feasibility Studies
Provide medium and long term mine planning for existing operations.
Develop plans for tailings management including schedules.
Effectively communicate mine plans to key stakeholders.
Assist with reserve reporting.
Management of specific projects in relation to operations, as required.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
Extensive engineering experience with open pit mining techniques and knowledge of mineral processing, preferably within an operational environment
Experience using Surpac, Datamine and MineSched software is desirable.
Strong medium to long term production planning, budget preparation and rehabilitation knowledge
Ability to work as an integral part of a team with exceptional organisational skills.
Excellent communication and technical report writing skills.
