E73 is proud to present an opportunity to work Fly-In fly-Out or Drive-In Drive-Out on 8 days on 6 days off roster for our clients Open Cut coal Operation, located in the Southern End of the Bowen Basin.
Working closely with the site production team, you will work as an integral role in leading technical mining activities on-site. With a core focus on technical support for all mine scheduling and planning, you will drive best-practice mining engineering services across truck and shovel and drill & blast activities. Ensuring mine plans and schedules are implemented to ensure production operations are followed maintaining that the site’s coal operational efficiencies are optimised.
Playing an integral role as a Senior member of the Technical Services Team you your role will involve;
Working closely with the site leadership team in the review and implementation of short-term plans
Overseas mine planning, scheduling, and forecasting activities
Support Production Superintendent decision-making making relating to the day-to-day activities of mining operations
Control short, medium and long-term mine production plans
Provide technical advice and support across mine planning, scheduling, design to operational personnel
Continually conduct risk analysis to ensure overall commitments to health safety and the environment are met
Develop strong working relations with the operations team to ensure mine planning is executed to optimise mining efficiency
Reporting of volumes, production hours and fleet progress to key stakeholders
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following;
Proven experience in open-cut coal mining operations
Comprehensive short-term modelling and planning-related experience
Demonstrated experience in scheduling, forecasting and budgeting
Document and report generation skills including presenting to key stakeholders
