BP is transforming its former oil refinery in Kwinana to an integrated energy hub, where it plans to produce biofuels and renewable hydrogen. Worley is proud to be providing engineering services to the BP Kwinana Renewable Fuels Project and to contribute to a more sustainable world for a new era of renewable fuels. The Kwinana Renewable Fuels Project is one of BP's five biofuel projects across the globe as BP aims to produce around 100,000 barrels of biofuels per day by 2030. What you'll do

We are looking for a Senior Instrumentation & ControlsPackage Engineer to join our team in Perth.

You will play a key role providing specific engineering services to Worley and its clients for the hydrocarbons, energy and chemicals industries to enable construction of of production plants and facilities

The role responsibilities include:

  • Deliver discipline specific engineering services that meet Worley, its client's and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform discipline specific engineering services such as:

a) prepare and review the production of mechanical package deliverables including datasheets, specifications, scope of supply, document / data requirement lists, technical bid evaluations, drawings, specifications, calculations and reports;

b) review, consolidate and co-ordinate interdisciplinary review of vendor data and drawings,

c) Manage and expedite vendors to deliver packages in accordance with scope of supply and the project schedule.

d) liaise with vendors during completion of technical bid evaluation and clarification phase and then throughout package execution and delivery.

e) ensure the project scope is clear and identify changes to scope as required in line with project change management processes;

f) participate in relevant meetings, follow required checking procedures;

  • Technically evaluate vendor equipment supply proposals.
  • Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its client's requirements.
  • Identify issues and problems; develop appropriate and innovative solutions and ask for assistance if required.

What you'll bring

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • An Australian recognised electrical or electronics engineering degree
  • Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia
  • Proven history of delivering multiple instrumentation and control packages on major projects, through all phases including execution, within the hydrocarbon or renewable energy industries.
  • Package management experience.
  • Experience in Instrumentation & Controls package management, document review and consolidation.
  • An excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the discipline, including Brownfields, Greenfields, Equipment layout and the ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Experience in MS Office Suite and discipline specific including: Navisworks, Bluebeam / Adobe Suite
