Here within our BRAND NEW Norwest clinic we are looking for a permanent Senior Patient Services Officer which relates to the role of a Senior Medical Receptionist. We are looking for an energetic, adaptable person with strong communication skills as you'll be liaising with many different stakeholders within the clinic.

On offer is a permanent full-time opportunity, working 38hours/week Mon-Fri.

What you’ll do:
As the Senior Patient Services Officer, you are responsible for the leadership of the Administration team (within the designated centre) in the delivery of high-quality patient centred services. This is a hands-on role, responsible for providing direction on daily matters pertaining to reception, patient administration and patient accounts services.

Who you are:
Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of 3 or more staff.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.
Strong experience in medical administration and reception management.
Strong management and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with and effectively influence staff & patients.
Demonstrated understanding of and ability to provide excellent leadership in line with the organisation’s values.
A collaborative approach to delivering exceptional patient centred services.
Willingness and ability to proactively implement continuous improvement and change initiatives.
Able to effectively and collaboratively solve problems as they arise.
High level Medical accounts processing skills including knowledge of Medicare, DVA and private health funds.
Ability to use clinical administration systems, as well as Microsoft Office software for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Demonstrated business acumen.
Flexible approach to work.
Diploma of Medical Administration or equivalent experience.
