ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture this role will be a vital partner to the business. You will be responsible for both strategic initiatives and delivering on the day-to-day operational activities.
- Provide our leaders with coaching, advice and support across all areas that impact our culture including talent development, team engagement, leadership, change, organisational design, capability, development, and organisational effectiveness
- Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues to bring some of the initiatives in our People Strategy to life, including the design, delivery, and project management of both local and global deliverables
- Provide coaching and expert advice that enables our leaders to fulfil their people management responsibilities
- Utilise data and analytics to provide insights and identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and overall organisational effectiveness
- Partner with leaders to drive and successfully deliver our core people processes
- Provide guidance and advice on performance management, disciplinary matters and manage compliance related activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our people processes and practices
- Partner with Group IR specialists to plan, prepare and negotiate our EBA process
- Build and maintain partnerships with our leaders and key stakeholders to foster trusting, co-operative working relationships
- Significant experience as a HR generalist in a commercial environment
- The ability to be forward thinking and build and leverage strong relationships across all levels of the business
- A global mindset with a willingness to navigate working in globally dispersed teams across different time zones
- Knowledge and experience in developing and delivery of people programs centred around the employee lifecycle that shape and influence organisational culture
- Employee relations experience and knowledge of employment legislation
- Experience in managing multiple priorities and an ability to work with pace
- A team player that demonstrates the ability to collaborate and provide support as needed
