About You
You have extensive clinical experience in delivering advanced Physiotherapy services to clients experiencing a broad range of chronic illness (including [but not limited to] neurological, stroke, cardiac and respiratory conditions).
You have demonstrated experience in delivering advanced Physiotherapy services in a community, including experience in conducting and implementing quality improvement activities.
You are registered as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA and have a current NSW drivers licence.
What you'll be doing
The position of Senior Physiotherapist is part of a community-based multidisciplinary allied health team. The Community Allied Health (CAH) provides service to a broad and diverse range of clients, including those with neurological conditions, age related functional difficulties and chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Respiratory, Heart Failure and Cardiac diseases.
The physiotherapy team provides the assessment and interventions as part of group education programs at community centres as well as clinics and home visits. This position is required to work collaboratively with the other senior physiotherapists within the team to ensure the effective and co-ordinated service provision across all geographical sites and services, including the supervision of Level 1-2 physiotherapists and allied health assistants.
As part of the senior team within CAH team, this role may be required to assist and support staff from other disciplines, and be involved in team-wide activities and projects.
