MARS Healthcare is currently seeking Senior Physiotherapist with a specialism in Orthopaedics for a newly established private hospital in Western Sydney, NSW.
This hospital is a 90-bed sub-acute private hospital located in a world-class medical hub in Western Sydney.
They offer specialist services in rehabilitation, medical, geriatrics, palliative care, mental health and wellness therapies within a purpose-built, boutique hotel-style setting.
The Allied Health department pride themselves on offering a passionate and person-centered service to patients and assist them redevelop strength, independence and achieve recovery orientated goals.
Permanent full time opportunity- This role is full time or part time 0.8FTE with flexible with varied shift patterns available.
Salary - Up to $120,000 per annum + Super - Commensurate with experience level. Open to review Senior Physiotherapists.
The role:
- Provide specialist therapy in Orthopaedics to a diverse patient caseload.
- Operate as a Senior, providing support and advice to less experienced clinicians.
- Assess patients' physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments in a private hospital environment.
- Interpreting findings to create individually tailored treatment plans and overall assist each participant achieve their goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based
- Have the ability to work throughout varied wards.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Sound clinical skills with at least 3 years experience within hopsital environment.
- FULL AHPRA Registration
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Willingness to meet all compliance checks.
