Due to continued successes both locally and nationally, we have an opportunity for a Senior Principal Process Engineer to undertake and lead process design activities for both water and wastewater treatment plants.
Whilst the position is based in Queensland, the role supports both local and national projects as part of a national process engineering team. This national focus will provide you with the ability to not just work on and influence a wide range of water/wastewater projects across Australia, but to also extend your network of professional contacts across a range of utilities.
Key Skills and attributes
- Display high level technical skills including process modelling using industry standard tools.
- Significant multi-disciplinary technical understanding
- Provide technical expertise to guide and support project deliverables
- Exhibit extensive knowledge of industry standards and practices
- Mentor and actively develop less experienced process engineers and others as appropriate
- Operate as a Lead Process Engineer on major projects to complete planning, design and execution to meet or exceed client expectations
- Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical or Environmental) or equivalent
- 20+ years related industry experience
- Significant Water/Wastewater Industry experience
- Registration as a RPEQ
- Ability to build relationships and maintain rapport with clients, colleagues and managers
- A pro-active approach to solving problems and the ability to work autonomously
- A desire to mentor and support the next generation of process engineers
- Technical expert with design/ project management experience viewed favourably
- Experience with Biowin viewed favourably
