About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Rail & Civil) to join us on some exciting infrastructure projects in Melbourne, VIC. Laing O’Rourke has a growing pipeline of works in VIC. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
As a Senior Project Engineer (Rail & Civil) you will have excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Tracking costs and managing subcontractors will be a key element to the role.
- Your skill set will be both in pre delivery and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
- You will provide leadership and direction to direct reports as well as interfacing with design management and construction delivery teams.
- As a Senior Project Engineer (Rail & Civil) you will uphold and promote the highest of Health and Safety standards.
About you
- You will have experience delivering large scale infrastructure projects in track & civil , ideally having worked in a tier 1 setting. Leadership skills are essential for the role as well as a relevant Engineering or Construction Management degree.
- A degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) or construction management with experience working on the delivery of major infrastructure projects, Utility relocations and stakeholder management.
