Working for this local government body as a Project Manager you will lead various projects related to Asset Management processes and systems within the Parking, Property & Assets Program. This will include managing a backlog of process and system improvements whilst delivering a business case for an Enterprise Asset Management platform that aligns with future business and technology strategies.
Key accountabilities
Lead the delivery of projects, including developing appropriate project documentation including business cases, project charters, project plans and schedules, budgets, risk analysis, status reports and other documentation as required
Keep track of project plans, schedules and resources to ensure delivery to scope, time and cost
Act as a customer liaison and communicating regularly with stakeholders to ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution
Ensure vendor performance by defining, directing, monitoring and reviewing the activities of vendors on projects
Skills and experience
Previous experience managing the implementation of Enterprise Asset Management systems
Extensive experience in creating, maintaining and communicating project schedules, status reports, budgeting, forecasting and risk and issues registers
Practical experience with agile tools, including Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira) to manage project delivery
Experience in leading the procurement, implementation and upgrade of third party business applications, both on premise and in the cloud
Demonstrated strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with ability to generate and implement practical and innovative solutions
Ability to manage a wide range of tasks and track multiple streams of work
