About Your Role: Senior Bids and Project Manager – Bushmaster
Due to business growth, a newly created role has become available for a highly experienced Senior Bids & Project Manager to join our Protected Vehicles business , leading and managing allocated bids and projects in acquisition and through life support for the Bushmaster Family of Vehicles.
At the core of this leadership role, you will cover all aspects of Bid & Project Management including:
Leading and managing assembled bid/project teams to meet business objectives
Ensuring the project objectives in relation to cost, time, safety and quality are exceeded
Strategically leading the development of high quality and competitive bid offers
Other Key Responsibilities:
Engaging transversally across functional areas to optimise resource allocation for bid activities.
Strategic management of stakeholders and associated communications both external and internal.
Managing and improving Bid and Project integrated schedule, budget, baselines, risks and opportunities.
Coordinating and negotiating input from suppliers and partners and oversea subcontracts.
Preparing and presenting all internal and customer reporting requirements.
Mentoring, developing and coaching less experienced bid and project managers.
About You?
Degree qualified in business, engineering or project management
Experienced in Bid & Project Management at a senior level
Ability to lead, mentor and develop high performing teams
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Strong internal stakeholder management in a matrix organisation.
Desired experience:
Experience in leading complex bids and projects across geographies and time zones.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
Experience with Defence ASDEFCON procurement.
