You will plan and coordinate the delivery of specialised work packages involving IM/ICT, ensuring solutions delivered are responsive to customer needs and sustainable in an enterprise environment, with a focus on coordinating engagement work packages.
Produce high quality written papers and presentations as well as providing administrative support for the My Health Record Steering Committee. Represent Queensland Health at inter-departmental and intra-departmental committees by effectively contributing at various forums.
Further duties include:
- Work closely with the Principal Business Change Officer to lead on the communication and engagement plan using effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business.
- Monitor and report on project performance against agreed criteria through monthly initiative reports.
- Monitor resources and expenditure within the agreed work package budgets against the project forecasts.
- Undertake risk and issues identification, assessment and mitigation activities by ensuring risks and issues are documented, reviewed and escalated as appropriate, with a focus on engagement activities.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities. Experience in an IM/ICT project environment, including scheduling, risk management, reporting and budgeting, and an ability to coordinate the delivery of work packages.
You will have knowledge of appropriate project management methodologies and ability to provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, with Experience in, or the ability to assist with the compilation of program/project information, maintenance of program/project files and the preparation and presentation of management reports.
The preferred candidate will have knowledge of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools (preferably PRINCE2).
