The System Analyst role sits within Application Operations and would be specifically tasked with support services to internal and external customers for a suite of management applications. The tasks include the fulfilment of service desk requests, general task administration, system upgrades, issue triage, job monitoring and the creation of related support documentation, as well as some problem solving and backend development
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The processes, practices, and services necessary to operate my client's portfolio of business applications that provide services to internal and external customers. This typically includes but is not limited to service operation and management, monitoring, end user support and experience management, availability and disaster recovery, incident, and security management commissioning/de-commissioning.
YOU WILL HAVE:
- Strong experience across Python and Django or Flask or FastAPI
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL, PostreSQL and writing SQL queries
- Task execution across areas such as development, monitoring, infrastructure, and automation of the system using Python & Shell scripting.
- Manage level 1- 3 application-related tickets (investigate, resolve and communicate) with business.
- Performing daily, weekly, and monthly administration tasks with daily monitoring reviews to ensure system reliability.
- Contribute to system configuration and system upgrades when required.
- Contribute towards process and system reliability improvements.
- Creation of support related documentation that is maintained in the confluence wiki.
