AddressOur client is Australia’s leading food coating manufacturer and provides a wide range of marinades, seasonings, batters, breadcrumbs and functional ingredients. They are currently seeking an experienced QA professional to join their team at their site based in Western Sydney. The role is full-time, day shift and is initially a contract role with opportunities for extension.
Duties:
- Ensure highest levels of HACCP and GMP by monitoring manufacturing
- Direct involvement with internal and external audits
- Maintain documentation and prepare reports
- Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints
- Monitor and evaluate cleaning and sanitation programs
- Drive continuous improvement
- Ensure all production staff are trained in food safety procedures
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related discipline
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment essential
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
