About the Role
We are looking for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors/Contract Administrators to work one of our major Civil / Rail project in Perth, Western Australia. This role will assist with procurement, contract administration of packages and be responsible for optimising margin whilst protecting the company from commercial risks.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering the commercial requirements of the project
- Ensuring accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting of project costs
- Maintaining registers and productivity on the project whilst at all times adhering to Laing O'Rourke's safety policies & procedures
About you
- A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying with experience working in similar role.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the principles nd practices of contract management, programs financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration.
- Hold an intermediate level of experience in a similar role, ideally with Tier 1 construction contractor companies.
- Experience with procurement of subcontract packages.
- A high level of technical and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills along with your ability to liaise confidently with a variety of internal and external stakeholders will be highly regarded.
