Key Responsibilities:In this position, you will provide front-line customer service and administrative support, process applications and notifications while maintaining accurate records. In addition to this, you will be providing additional support to the Licensing, Registration, and Analytics teams, and assist in a range of registration activities for the NSW Greyhound Racing Industry.
- You will act as the first point of contact for all enquiries, including high volume telephone calls.
- Update records and databases, complying with records management processes, to ensure information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
- Provide routine information in an effective and responsive manner and refer extraordinary, complex and/or specialist enquiries to the appropriate staff as required.
- Undertake front-of-house reception duties at the Commission head office ensuring a professional, customer-focused response to all visitors.
- Process and/or approve submissions in accordance with delegations.
- Prepare correspondence and notify applicants of decisions within agreed service delivery timeframes, including any actions taken.
- Apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to a diverse range of greyhound racing registration transactions.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- You’re a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Experience working in a contact centre environment is advantageous
- You enjoy working alongside a passionate team and take initiative to contribute to its success.
- You have a strong sense of service excellence and take pride in delivering exceptional support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Your keen eye for detail guarantees accuracy in all your work.
- Possesses excellent time management skills.

Where you'll be working
The Commission is based in Bathurst with an office in the Sydney CBD. This role is based in our Bathurst office.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for employment at GWIC, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
