Your new company
You will be working for an international renewable energy organization who are backed by one of the largest investment firms in this space. They have a massive budget to spend, and the Australian market is their top priority right now. This company focuses across all renewable technologies from on and offshore wind, Solar BESS, hydrogen, pumped hydro and more! Based in the Melbourne CBD they are a rapidly expanding team who are looking to take over the Australian market.
Your new role
The Senior Renewable Energy Engineer will be focusing on providing technical engineering support across all phases of project development from inception to construction and commissioning completion. You will be the subject matter expert for all renewable technologies such as wind turbines, solar, and BESS. This person will be given the opportunity to liaise with subject matter experts globally for support and resources for local engineering tasks and also to provide support on global engineering tasks
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or an equivalent field
5+ years of relevant work experience
Experience in project development or management or technical bid management for an OEM or contractor in renewable energy or energy storage
Experience with project engineering or the management or coordination of varied techno-commercial disciplines and activities.
Negotiation of technical aspects of EPC, S&I, BOP and O&M contracts.
Management of contractors/sub-contractors and/or consultants.
