About the Role:
The Senior Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through developing and executing effective sales strategies.
They will be responsible for leading a team of business development professionals and managing corporate accounts.
This role requires a strong focus on building and nurturing relationships with doctors and health organisations of various sizes , as well as collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals and initiatives.
As the business evolves, the Senior Sales Manager will need to adapt to changing work requirements, including embracing new technologies, work procedures, and expectations.
They should be flexible and open to taking on new or alternate duties as needed.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the sales team and actively contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall sales strategy.
- Collaborate with the General Managers to develop a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's mission and vision.
- Implement the sales strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives and driving revenue growth.
- Work with Head of Partnerships and New Markets to identify and pursue collaborative opportunities with external partners to enhance sales opportunities.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing and Product, to execute the sales strategy and allocate resources effectively.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential clients to drive successful sales outcomes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement go-to-market strategies
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sales opportunities and evaluate market trends.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to sales growth and market expansion.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring sales targets are met.
- Extensive experience in sales roles, preferably within the healthcare or technology industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills to analyse market trends, identify sales opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in scaling sales operations and managing a high-performing sales team.
- Familiarity with CRM software (i.e Dynamics365) and other sales tools to effectively manage and track sales activities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proven ability to effectively manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including contract negotiations and deal closures.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue and achieving sales targets.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to deliver compelling sales pitches to large clients.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying market trends and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficient in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting on key sales metrics.
