We are actively looking for Consultants and Senior Consultants in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
About the role
The Senior Consultant - Strategy and Consulting is responsible for engaging with customers to solve their most challenging cyber security problems, protect their future, and empower them to thrive in an uncertain world.
We are searching for high performing candidates from technical and non-technical backgrounds, who have a willingness to learn and can deliver meaningful outcomes to our clients. We welcome applications with relevant experience across areas such as cyber security, management and technology consulting, organisational psychology, change management, research and design or national security.
Duties
Work as part of a team to delivery complex cyber security projects, including security strategies for Board-level Executives and C-Suite leaders of Australia’s leading commercial and government organisations
Lead discovery activities with client stakeholders to inform the creation of deliverables and shape client outcomes as part of larger projects
Support the development of solutions to address our clients’ toughest challenges, such as cyber security strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to protect our clients and their customers.
Prepare clients for critical cyber security incidents through contributing to their cyber security strategic direction
Analyse and assess the global and Australian threat landscape and leverage threat intelligence and data into strategic solutions
Skills & experience
Broad understanding of technology and a passion for cyber security
3+ years’ experience, ideally working within a consulting firm, large government agency or technology provider
You don’t need to be a cyber security expert, however you do have experience working in a technology or related business role, such as strategy, risk or policy development. Previous consulting experience is a plus.
Proficiency and experience across a cyber security area is desirable, but not required. For example, risk assessment and management, cyber security frameworks (such as NIST CSF, ISM, Essential Eight, CPS 234, ISO/IEC27001) or vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, security research etc.
Qualifications or certifications in areas such as Cyber Security, Computer Science, Political Science, Psychology, Law, Commerce or the Arts
Preferred, an Australian Government security clearance, or the willingness and ability to attain one
