Role Purpose
Aesop are seeking a motivated and highly organized Senior Front End Engineer to join our high performing Engineering function, based in our brand new global head office in Collingwood.
In this position you will be responsible for delivering the front-end development of campaigns, extensions and modifications to our Aesop.com website platform and surrounding digital properties (including additional services and channels such as email).
The successful applicant will be a critical member of the Creative Technology team and will work with internal and external groups to realise the creation of an exceptional digital experience for Aesop. This role will work alongside members of the wider digital team to help design and create new features for our digital services as well as refine existing ones to make them function more effectively.
What we are looking for
You will ideally have an excellent understanding of all Front-End development elements including:
Extensive experience using Front End technologies actively (HTML, CSS, JSS)
Ability to work with JS without a framework
Solid Commercial experience using ReactJS
Demonstrable understanding of React application development.
Working understanding of NodeJS
Good problem-solving capacity with an outcome focus.
A working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Demonstrable experience of being able to estimate effort for task completion.
Consistent experience of working in a cross functional team beyond development
Articulate, composed and excellent communication skills
