Part of the Platform Team of Software Engineers and Software Support Specialists.
Working alongside project / change team members and IT infrastructure / security colleagues.
Interaction with Vendor partners, including specialist Avaloq SME’s and Software Engineers
Your Role
Designing and building best practice solutions and processes based on complex business requirements
Customising Avaloq Core Platform functionalities
Shared responsibility for the Avaloq code base (including refining and enforcing concepts)
Solution design and review of new features
Definition of integration patterns / interfaces to other systems as required
Unit testing and building test automation capabilities in everything you develop
Support for incident management triage, release/change management and implementation processes
Escalation point for system monitoring alerts
Identifying risks associated with changes being made to the system, able to articulate to non-technical stakeholders the implications of any requirements
Participate in agile ceremonies (daily scrum, retrospectives, prioritisation, demos)
Play back technical concepts to business stakeholders in a relatable manner
Build a deep technical knowledge across multiple functional business areas
Support team and lead in strictly enforcing solution design, development, change management, and agile principles for the betterment of the platform
Build relationships with stakeholders across business units and external partners
Support and enforce technical audits wherever required
Definition, implementation and maintenance of automated testing suite
Your skills & experience
Avaloq development experience across multiple domains
Subject matter expert in operational support of the Avaloq environment
Financial services industry experience
Knowledge of wealth management products and services desirable (e.g. portfolio management, trading, settlement, payments, reconciliations, corporate actions)
Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and change methodologies
