Flexible Working Arrangements - 3 days in Melbourne office, 2 days WFH allowed after probation.
1-2 per month travel to Canberra Office will required, travel and accommodation will be covered by the firm
Conditions for Success:
6+ Years PQE in Civil Litigation as an Australian Solicitor
Proficient with SMOKEBALL Legal Software is ideal but not essential
Excellent communication skills - Confident approach and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and relevant third parties
Experience in Business Development & readily ability to manage client expectations
Motivated to provide excellent client service
Ability to prioritise and manage many files and project deadlines simultaneously.
Adept commercial acumen and disposition - proactive, innovative and outcome-focused approach
Your Responsibilities:
Liaise with clients, solicitors, barristers and other stakeholders
Help facilitate the growth of the firm with the help of the Melbourne office staff.
5-6 billable hours per day
Willing to occasionally travel interstate to help build the practice (travel costs paid for)
Attend occasional networking events to represent the new branch
Prepare court documents, correspondence, and briefs to barristers
Arrange meetings and manage your case files with attention to detail
Handle matters from start to finish autonomously
Establish and maintain client relationships and expectations through regular and effective communication.
Liaising with Psychological counsellors in the team
