Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional with HSE system administration experience? Are you looking for your next position, within a collaborative team, offering variety and exposure to multiple business areas? We have a newly created role available, to support our continued growth within our Sustainability Division at Perenti Corporate Services, for a Senior Specialist - HSE Systems.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Health, and Safety, you will play a vital role in supporting continual improvement in the sustainability performance of Perenti. The purpose of the position, is to administer, support and continually improve the HSE System (SAI360). The role will administer the HSE System to ensure it is effective, meets the needs of the business and provides reliable reporting outcomes. The role also offers guidance and support from the current Senior SpecialistHSE Systems, alongside project, and development opportunities.
Key accountabilities and role responsibilities will include:
- Administer the global HSE Systems by updating processes and forms where required by the business and managing the HSE System help desk.
- Develop a HSE system audit process to ensure data is accurate and consistent across the business.
- Develop, maintain and improve HSE reports and dashboard to support management decision making and review of risk control actions.
- Collaborate across the Perenti divisions to ensure that the HSE system continue to deliver operational value.
To succeed in this role, you will offer the following key skills and experience:
- Significant HSE system administration experience, supported by operational (site) knowledge and understanding
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role; with a minimum 8 years' experience in health, safety and environment management with experience in the mining or related industry
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE information systems
- Report writing for Senior Leaders (Corporate and Divisions)
- Demonstrated experience of building effective relationships with internal stakeholders to improve HSE system performance
- Communication and problem solving skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Proven ability to adapt and manage changes and priorities
- Exposure to developing and maintaining Power BI Reports for HSE analytics
- A background in SAI360 system administration, INX training systems and audit experience are desirable, though not essential.
- The ideal candidate will have tertiary studies in a related field.
