AddressSoteria Independent Living is growing. We need a compassionate, confident, experienced Senior Support Worker to run our Waratah SIL home.
Main responsibilities and activities may include:
As a leader of the team you will be reporting to our management team on how the team is going, as well as working closely with the clients to ensure they are getting all their needs met.
Flexibility to work AM and PM Supporting Individuals in the SIL homes, plus 1 day of administration in the week.
Assist our clients with their daily routines and skills, such as - Community access, medication, personal care, domestic duties etc. Manage accurate and detailed shift reports, incident reports and progress notes. Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Requirements
- A genuine passion to work alongside participants and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Professional experience in the NDIS industry at a Senior/leader level
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
