Have the opportunity to own the tax space as well as influence and shape the tax function at Myer. The role of the Senior Tax Manager is to lead the taxation function through providing tax technical advice on Myer’s business operations, proactively drive continuous improvements whilst ensuring all taxation obligations are met.

About the role:
Providing tax technical advice for compliance processes, policies, project work and operational matters
Proactively drive and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance outcomes, system and processes, including involvement in the Finance Transformation Roadmap to achieve efficiencies
Be a key contact for all taxation matters and provide support and guidance to various areas of the support office, stores and subsidiaries
Managing the relationship with, and service provision by, the group external tax advisors and auditors, revenue and tax authorities and other key stakeholders
Ensure all tax (including statutory, GST, FBT, Withholding Tax and Payroll Tax) reporting and compliance obligations are met
About you:
Experience in a large tax firm and/or in-house ASX listed corporate role
Post graduate qualification CA/CPA or Masters of Tax
Proven tax knowledge including interpretation of Corporate Tax law
Strong stakeholder relationship and influencing skills
Self-motivated, self-starter and proactive
High attention to detail and accuracy
Passion for leading process improvements
