About the role
The Senior Team Leader (Community Health Services) is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of health services within the Home Care Division. In addition, the Senior Team Leader is responsible for management of the clinical staffing pool to deliver health services for all of VMCH’s At Home Aged Care programs. This includes the effective operational management of all our allied health centres and facilities. The Senior Team Leader is also responsible for the growth and development of health service programs and leading a community of practice amongst various clinical fields to ensure best-in-class service standards.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Relevant Allied Health qualification (Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy) with unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant clinical field of practice delivering community and facility based care
- Experience in managing staff remotely and in a matrix structure
- Ability to set objectives and milestones, and lead teams to achieve these within an agreed timeframe
- Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills, plus the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong conceptual, strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivery excellent customer service
- Current Valid Driver’s Licence
