As a Senior Technical Specialist - Trustee Review in our Insurance Services team, you will be responsible for providing knowledge and coaching to team members, uplifting capability, peer reviewing submissions, and supporting staff in obtaining delegated authority, ongoing quality checking of submissions as well as reviewing and managing complex insurance claims and insurance related complaints.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of, best practice policies and
Trustee Review teams * Provide advice and recommendations on the handling of complex customer issues relating to claims, in collaboration with the internal and external insurance dispute resolution team
- Analyse claims trends and insurance related complaints, with the view to identify systemic or recurring trends and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence in the future
You are a resilient problem solver and excellent communicator who can handle responsibility under pressure at times. Furthermore, your skills and qualifications may include the following:
- ASFA100 or RG146 superannuation compliant
- Experience in dealing with Australian Financial Complaints Authority or similar historical tribunals
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, with experience managing multiple stakeholders, including external parties, to influence and negotiate outcomes of a complex nature
- Ability to provide succinct technical advice with interpretation for internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, members and beneficiaries alike whom may be without a legal background
- Demonstrated experience in Insurance claims assessment, with strong superannuation experience and knowledge of the associated legislation within the superannuation environment, or within insurance claims management.
