To support our clients' continuous demand across major projects spanning engineering and technology, we are seeking Senior Training Content Developers / Instructional Designers to take ownership of and help develop training course packages for a significant Rail Technology Programme.
There are multiple positions, being offered as initial 6-month ongoing contract assignments to work directly with a Tier 1 mining-resource operator, open to remote and flexible-hybrid Working From Home setup. Although Perth-based, there will be some minimal ad hoc site travel required as well.
Key accountabilities and objectives for these positions include (but not limited to):
Focus on developing Operator materials, in particular for site-based track gangs using a Mobile Workstation to manage possessions.
Develop the Training Course Packages for the Maintainer roles for Locomotives, Track Maintenance Machines, Hi-Rails, and Wayside Equipment.
To work closely with the Vendor and Company SME's in order to develop training materials required for training all personnel (3000+ users) impacted by the Rail System.
Ensure that all training materials developed meet required standards and templates and are signed-off prior to publishing.
The essential skills and experience to be successful in these roles:
10 years in developing Training materials
Experience in implementing systems in Mining and/or Rail
Have had exposure to Simulation tools and/or a strong Technical background
A Workplace Vocational Education and Training qualification (I.e., Cert IV in Training)
Strong Project Management and good interpersonal skills to liaise with multiple teams and stakeholders
Highly experienced with the Microsoft Office suite of products, which will be used for developing materials (Word; PowerPoint; Excel etc.)
