A unique opportunity exists for Tasmanian travel specialists to join a growing, iconic Australian business, designing, booking and coordinating unique Tasmanian Travel experiences for high end visitors to our beautiful state. This exciting, fast-paced position is a full time, Work from Home position.

This is the job for you if:
*You love Tasmania and want to shout from the rooftops about how great it is
*Are an experienced inbound travel agent with at least 5 years proven sales record
*Have excellent personal and organisation skills
*Are passionate about planning and booking the most awesome Tasmanian experience for your customers.
*Have an extensive and contemporary knowledge of Australia's Tourism and Hospitality offerings – good knowledge of Tasmania is a plus (but can be gained.)
*Are an accomplished administrator, networker and creative thinker
*Flexible and adaptive and a quick learner - we are still a young company and are building out and embedding our processes and systems – your input is welcomed
You will be responsible for:
*Providing exceptional customer service over the phone and via email
*Interpreting and understanding the potential customers' profile and selling a Tasmanian experience that best fits their needs
*Using your insider, local in-depth knowledge to convert enquiries into bookings
*Designing unique, engaging and unforgettable Tasmanian itineraries for our customers
*Up-selling and driving the growth of our online bookings, meeting your KPIs and commission targets and maximising profitability for the custom experience arm of our business
*Forming relationships with and negotiating optimal supply agreements and keep up to date with movements in the industry and new suppliers
*Assisting in the formation of new processes and systems to optimise efficiency
*Preparing and issuing invoices, receipt payments and maintain accurate financial documents
This position is ideally 38 hours a week spread across daytime working hours. The position is Work from Home as part of normal practice.
