About the role:
Leading a team to deliver civil design packages for mining infrastructure projects.
Liaising with and coordinating various stakeholders, including clients, local government, and authorities.
Managing projects including resourcing, scheduling, cash flow and the preparation of project budgets.
Preparation of design sketches and details for drafting by technical staff and oversee the design development and documentation.
Liaising with and coordinating various stakeholders including clients, local government, and authorities.
Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
Attend site for inspections.
About you:
Tertiary level qualifications in Civil Engineering.
5-15 years of mining design experience with a focus on autonomous, non-process infrastructure.
Chartered status with Engineers Australia would be beneficial, but not essential.
Strong technical base and wanting to grow into project management and leadership roles.
Strong communication and liaison abilities to engage with clients, contractors, agencies, and other team members.
Be self-motivated with the ability work autonomously with a focus on delivery and service.
Be a team player willing to pitch in and help to get the work done.
