The Opportunity
We are an established recruitment agency seeking a Mid, Senior or Principal Engineering Recruitment Consultant to provide our clients with high quality recruitment services in the Engineering sector across New South Wales. The role can be based in our Sydney, or the Newcastle office, working with a large and loyal client base including tier one panels and access to large contracting opportunities. You will work across all existing clients and have an opportunity to develop new key business relationships; all within a highly flexible working structure including significant benefits.
The Role
You will work as part of a small team of Engineering focused Recruitment professionals that are highly collaborative and supportive, working across a broad client base from small to medium through to enterprise and government across all industry verticals that have a high demand for skilled Engineering professionals. The role will be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients whilst delivering end to end permanent and contract recruitment services to a high-quality standard. The role will also seek to develop strong networks within the Engineering industry, including sector specific talent networks and creating new business opportunities to expand our market share.
Your Experience
The ideal candidate will be a professional recruitment consultant with a proven track record and a preference for working with senior candidates on high value engagements with medium to large employers. You will ideally have a great understanding of both the recruitment and Engineering industry and the various roles and technologies within it. We will consider experienced consultants looking to switch to the Engineering sector and capitalise on the high earning potential this sector offers. Strong communication and negotiation skills are also important, as is the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
