Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Workshop Service Advisor to join our team. As a Workshop Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary liaison between our customers and our automotive technicians, ensuring smooth communication, accurate service recommendations, and timely completion of repairs. Key Responsibilities:
· Greet customers warmly and assist them in articulating their vehicle's service needs and concerns.
· Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and consult with customers to identify required repairs and maintenance services.
· Provide accurate estimates of service costs and timeframes, explaining recommended repairs and options to customers.
· Schedule service appointments and allocate work to automotive technicians based on skill level and availability.
· Communicate effectively with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of repairs and any additional recommendations.
· Coordinate with parts suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary components for repairs.
· Review completed repairs with customers, explaining work performed and ensuring satisfaction.
· Process service orders, invoices, and payments accurately and efficiently.
· Maintain organized records of customer interactions, service history, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
· Uphold company policies and procedures regarding quality standards, safety regulations, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in automotive Service Advisory or related customer service role preferred.
· Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair processes.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
· Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in computer systems and software applications, including automotive service management software.
· Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
