This role sits within CommSec, Australia’s leading share trading platform, under the umbrella of the CBA Business Bank. CommSec operates it’s own employee SharePoint intranet site, CommSEEK, which acts as a single point of truth for CommSec teams. The CommSEEK team work together to ensure that the site functions as it should and that content is up to date and relevant.
Your impact and contribution
As a Service and Content Manager – CommSEEK, you will be required to build strong working relationships with key business and IT stakeholders to improve outcomes for CommSEEK, and identify improvement opportunities for our SharePoint Online-based Intranet. This is a fantastic opportunity for those wishing to progress their career in Service Management and gain exposure to stakeholders across the CommSec business through our Content Business Partnering model. You will be part of a small team that works together to manage both the functionality of and content within CommSEEK.
Your new role will see you:
- Acting as a of contact for functionality concerns or queries from CommSec teams for your Business Partnering portfolio
- Tracking issues/incidents, co-ordinating reviews, conducting investigations and progressing any relevant improvements according to assigned priorities
- Proactively resolving technical SharePoint issues by providing first level support and by working with key stakeholders such as Group SharePoint and our vendor to resolve service issues and problems
- Assisting with site reporting requirements and risk management activities under our governance framework
- Ensuring compliance with CBA technology governance processes and requirements
- Monitoring and tracking content changes across the site including content approvals/rejections
- Making recommendations on how the effectiveness of services could be improved
We are in interested in hearing from individuals who have:
- Experience with an understanding and knowledge of SharePoint technical environments and practices.
- Digital Content Management experience will also be considered if individuals can demonstrate strong IT technical knowledge in relation to Service Management and Incident Management.
- A background of IT technical knowledge, with experience managing operational requirements for IT services and/or management of IT projects.
- Experience of technical uplift and testing within a matrix technology environment.
- Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills for regularly consulting key stakeholders across the organisation.
- An analytical and consultative mindset.
