Accent Home Care is a division of Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged (TTHA) who have been supporting older people for over 50 years. Accent Home Care has a range of services that extend to Home Care Packages (HCP), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and private services. TTHA is a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) provider with its origins in the Melbourne German Community located in Bayswater.
The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for the leadership and management of key areas of operations including the Service Coordination Team, Direct Care Workforce, Office Administration, Contract Management and ensuring client statements are accurate. They will lead by example to coach and mentor the team’s day to day activities and work closely with consumers and their representatives to ensure excellent and high-quality service is delivered.
The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Service Delivery Team has a ‘No Shift Left Unfilled’ attitude and approach when scheduling
- Ensuring rostering is up-to-date and there is not a lag period between service request and delivery
- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key internal/external stakeholders.
- Contractual management of agreements and compliance documents for services are compliant
- Obtaining by negotiation competitive pricing the purchase of goods and services
- Ensuring client invoices are received and processed in a timely fashion, and reported accurately on client statements.
- Overseeing recruitment, selection and training for all staff in partnership with Human Resources
- Investigating and providing innovative solutions on systems and processes for continual improvement
- Nurturing teams through ambiguity and change to provide a confident service
- Work Health and Safety principles and risk management practices
- Responding to consumer feedback in relation to service providers
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- 4 years’ experience in Rostering or Scheduling (Ideally in the Aged Care or Disability Sector) but not mandatory.
- Demonstrable knowledge in rostering techniques and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing teams in a call centre / customer service environment
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn new programs.
- An understanding of issues and services for elderly people, persons with a disability and their families and carers.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Calm, and can work well under pressure
