Your new role

We’re looking for people who have a real drive to make a difference—for our customers, for each other, and for CSC.

The Service Desk Support Analyst will be an integral part of the IT Service Desk team as well as the wider Technology group.  This position acts to provide an effective interface between those staff requests and the ICT support teams and service providers supplying all necessary diagnostic information to allow for efficient resolution of requests in accordance with CSC policy, procedures and standards. The role also requires some system administration of CSC systems as required for service requests, regular maintenance and operation, and in order to “fix on first contact” for incidents.

This is an exciting contract opportunity with the possibility for permanency and could certainly aid as an initial platform of exposure at CSC to then explore other opportunities.  Are you keen to work in a highly skilled and developing team where there is potential for hybrid working?  This could very well be the role for you.

What you’ll need to excel

  • Several years of experience in a Service Desk support position
     
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline
     
  • Ability to independently manage Level 1.5 support tickets and assist/support level 2 tickets with limited supervision
     
  • A collaborative team player who is proactive and personable in approach
     
  • Strong Experience in support of Microsoft Applications, Citrix, Webex & Active Directory 
     
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
