Salary ranges from $99,431 to $110,064, plus employers contribution to super and leave loading
About Role
This role is pivotal in re-imagining & re-designing the way support services are currently delivered to schools. It provides subject matter expertise in listening to school colleagues, understanding their needs, and co-designing solutions to create and deliver support services that meet school needs.
Your accountabilities will include:
- Using human centric and design thinking methodologies to get a deep understanding of customer needs.
- Contributing to workshops, conducting research and analysis.
- Visually communicate concepts using various visual tool, including journey maps, service blue print etc.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external networks to collate and prepare information to support the teams goal.
- Meeting the needs of different types of clients and colleagues in a complex environment.
- Balancing customer needs and technical constraints in a regulation-driven environment, while providing the best possible service experience.
- Initiating, formulating, and implementing new business practices for the interaction design discipline.
- Supporting in building frameworks to fully assess the scope and context of short-term and long-term business needs.
- Writing insights and reports based on research findings.
Essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in Project Management, Business Studies, Service and Customer Experience, Conducting Research and/or equivalent.

- Demonstrable experience of working in a large organisation to deliver ground-breaking service design
- Clear articulation of design thinking approach and its implementation
- You're a confident designer and have the ability to facilitate large groups with wide range of audiences
- You're self-motivated and driven individual that can represent Design at all levels throughout the organisation
