About The Role
Origin LPG’s Service & Installation, Maintenance division is responsible for delivery of safe and cost-effective installation, service, inspections and maintenance of Origin owned LPG plant and equipment on assets of residential, industrial and commercial customer sites.
The S&I Maintenance Manager will be based at our Adelaide Terminal and will lead a team of specialised fitters / contractors, managing work predominately across the Northern Territory, South Australia, Western Australia locations. Locations such as Mildura and Broken Hill are also under this jurisdiction.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing an in-house team of Origin Energy Gas Fitters plus contractors
- Managing the SANTWA Service and Installation Budget (both Capex and Opex)
- Contractor engagement/management – Ensuring compliance with relevant directives and meeting the requirements of all LSR / Directives and Policies
- Managing emergency repairs both in Hours and after hours
- Contributing to continuous improvement processes
- Training execution - Understanding the dangers and what precautionary measures to take & running the training programs for the site staff
- Always leading and promoting a positive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Managing and implementing the preventative maintenance/asset management of Customer sites (Includes In Situ Bulk Tanks and Cylinder Testing), ensuring that all required documentation is available and correctly filed
Is This You?
- Considerable leadership experience is essential to succeed in this role
- Gas Fitters Licence with trade or engineering background is desirable, yet not essential
- Demonstrated supervisory & management capabilities, ideally experience leading remote teams
- Detailed knowledge of permit to work systems
- Attention to detail
- Able to work with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
- Absolute commitment to all relevant Occupational, Health, Safety and Environmental and Injury Management/Workers Compensation Legislation, codes of practice, standards, policies, operating procedures and work instructions and systems
- A team player and willing to be hands-on should the need arise, as well as travelling to support your team across multiple locations
