About the Role
The Service Manager is a key point of contact for Customers, Volunteer, Clients and their representatives. You will manage a cohesive team by providing information, guidance and support to staff, volunteers and the management committee.
We offer flexible working hours with a combination of onsite and remote work, totaling 30 hours per week at a rate of $40.35 per hour. The workday starts onsite at 7 am and ends at 1 pm, with the option to finish the day either onsite or remotely.
Key Duties and responsibilities:
- Effective change management skills
- Be responsible for the implementation of administrative and information systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring all enquiries are promptly managed.
- Ensure the customer data base is accurately maintained and updated by coordinating and recording information.
- Respond and accurately record all feedback submissions ensuring follow up.
- Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, management committee, customers and their representatives.
- Supervise the kitchen and maintain Food Safety Records.
- Promote safety by following organisational Work Health and Safety requirements and guidelines
- Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, standards and practices
- Perform any other function in line with authorities, capabilities, and skills as reasonably directed by the Management Committee
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
- Strong customer service focus and commitment to quality.
- Reliability, self-direction and ability to prioritise tasks.
- The ability to multitask and to be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a warm engaging style
- Professional, mature and positive 'can do' attitude.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience with Aged Care Services & My Aged Care systems highly desirable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook).
- Teamwork approach.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Police Check Certificate (or willing to obtain one)
- A current Drivers Licence
