Based in Western Australia, FFG provides evidence-based services. This includes support coordination, and a psychosocial-recovery coach (outcome Star method) focused on support, recovery, and rehabilitation across our Perth communities.

Service Manager - Disability ServicesWe currently have two positions available for this role, one based in Rockingham and the other based in Armadale.
Position SummaryTo manage and grow Forward Focused Services with a focus on managing an end-to-end therapeutic care service, coordination of supports, community access and psychosocial packages. The Service Manager requires a high level of consultation skills and experience consulting with people with disabilities, their families, and guardians to ensure that they have choice and control regarding the supports they receive.
Key focus areas of the role are customer service and customer satisfaction, effective management of budgets, incident management, people management and vacancy management.
Essential
- Experience in a similar role is a MUST HAVE
- A sound understanding of the industry.
- A sound understanding of Practice First principals and how they are transferable to disability support services
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience working within the NDIS space including accommodation, coordination of supports, community access and psychosocial packages
- High level consultation skills and experience consulting with people with disabilities, their families, and guardians to ensure that they have choice and control regarding the supports they receive
- Demonstrated understanding of customer service and customer satisfaction
- High level management skills that support staff and create a culture that fosters learning, hope and curiosity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage funded programs, attend to reporting requirements & meet reporting deadlines
- Solution-focused style & approach
- Experience in managing the efficiency of programs without sacrificing standards or ethics for the people we support
- Demonstrated experience in leading a multidisciplinary team of care team workers with diverse roles & backgrounds in the context of a wider organisational structure.
- Sound understanding of Disability Service Standards, Mental Health Standards, and the associated legislation
- Ability to manage and lead change in a rapidly expanding environment across disciplines
- Ability to work independently to deadlines and at a management level
