About this facility
Located close to Newcastle, Uniting has a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Residential Service Manager to steer, motivate and support our team at Uniting Salamander Bay on full-time permanent bases. It is 60-bed facility with amazing dedicated staff.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Manage the day-to-day service operations to ensure evidence-based best practice care is implemented
Monitor financial performance, budgets, and AN-ACC submission process to formulate initiatives to ensure future sustainability
Oversee recruitment, selection, and training for all staff in partnership with Human Resources
Investigate and provide innovative solutions to systems and processes for continual improvement
Who we’re looking for
You’ll have previous management experience in aged care or a similar role in the wider health sector.
You will have strong interpersonal skills, contribute to a harmonious team and advocate on behalf of our clients and families in alignment with the Uniting core values
You have completed a Degree /Diploma or higher in a relevant field of study with current AHPRA registration.
You have good communication and conflict management skills.
