About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join our service team out of our Eastern Creek, Sydney facility. This key role is the integral link between our customers and Technicians, you will assist the Service Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Service Department.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service and timely feedback of work in progress.
- Monitor and manage daily workflow, compliance with company defined procedures
- Maintaining product knowledge and some liaison with the Parts department, as necessary.
- Addressing and resolution of customer disputes, in conjunction with the Service Manager
- Maintain accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the Service Department
- Allocate work to Technicians and Apprentices ensuring they have the sufficient skill level to perform the work
- Liaise with customers to ensure the repairs are performed within their budget, requirements and within the required time frame
- Assist in the appraisal of repair work coming into the service department.
- Review all repair work orders for accuracy & completeness concerning parts, materials and labour, & approve the release of equipment for delivery to the customer.
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Previous experience in the service and maintenance industry
- Excellent customer service focus and dedicated work ethic.
- Ability to work to deadlines in a face paced environment
- Solid communications skills with internal and external customers
- Good computer skills
- Ability to lead, mentor and develop your team.
- A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work.
- Knowledge and understanding of plant equipment will be highly regarded.
- A current and valid driver's licence.
